Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Renew Contractor Practicing License the applicant has to approach Ministry of Urban Development and Construction contact link
2. There you will be issued with application form from the authority.
3. Applicant has to fill-in all the necessary details in the application form.
4. Applicant must make sure to carry documents that are listed under “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
5. Applicant has to attach photocopies along with application form.
6. Submit the completed application form and pay the required application fee of and submit the receipt as proof of payment.
7. This is followed by an inspection of applications by the Board Officers
8. A person who qualifies for registration will be issued with a renewal of Certificate of Registration by the construction authority.

• If applying for Electrical Engineering attach a certificate from Energy Regulatory Commission
• Copy of Company registration certificate — Certificate of Registration/Certificate of Incorporation
• 3 Years audited accounts and other relevant financial information
• Certified copies proving ownership of assets
• ERA Tax compliance certificate
• Contractor association membership certificate

Any Individual having a valid contractor practice license are eligible to make this application.

Fees

Fee for this procedure has to be paid authority request.

Validity

The license is valid for the period of one year.

A person shall not carry on the business of a contractor unless the person is registered by the Board under the National Construction Authority Act.
