Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To obtain for Radiation Devices or Radioactive Materials Installation, Servicing or Maintenance License, the applicant has to approach in the Radiation Protection Authority in Ethiopia contact link
2. Applicant has to get the application form from the respective office.
3. Applicant must provide all necessary information in the application form.
4. Make sure you have all the documents mentioned in “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Submit the completed application form with the required documents to the respective authority.
6. Fee for this procedure is given the “Fees” section of this procedure and submit the receipt as a proof of payment.
7. After the verification/ validation of document is done, the board will issue the license within one month.

Eligibility

No person is allowed to install, service or maintain radiation devices or radioactive materials unless he/she is inn possession of a valid license issued by the radiation protection board.

Fees

• Application fee – 100birr.
• License fee – 300birr.
  

Validity

Validity for the license is one month.
