Apply In Person

1. To Apply for Import License or Permit for Plant, Plant Products and Other Regulated Articles, the applicant has to approach Ministry of agriculture Link
2. An application from will be provided to the applicant by the respective officer.
3. Applicant has to fill in all necessary details in the application form (Incomplete application forms are not accepted).
4. Make to prepare all the necessary documents (photocopies and originals) that are mentioned in “Required Documents” in the section of this page.
5. Applicant should attach the photocopies of the necessary documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting.
6. Submit the application form to the respective officer. The authority will review the application.
7. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request and submit the receipt as a proof of payment.
8. Upon the successful verification, the ministry reviews the fulfilment of service requirements and provides import authorization for plant and plan products.

• The license allows the import of plants and plant products from other countries, importing plant without import permit is very offensive.
