ProcedureEdit

  1. Visit your Ministry of Interior's Travel Documents, Immigration and Nationality Administration (TDINA) bureau
  2. Fill the application form with the requested information
  3. Present the form along with the required documents to the responsible officer
  4. Pay the fee
  5. You will receive the passport three working days after submitting the application.

  1. Valid Egyptian National ID (for citizens over 16 years of age)
  2. Birth Certificate (showing national ID number for children less than 16 years of age)
  3. Evidence of education enrollment (for students)
  4. Education Certificate
  5. 4 Passport photos (size 4x6, white background)
  6. Military Status Certificate
  • Original documents should be brought, along with clear photocopies. The original documents will be returned to you after reviewing them.

EligibilityEdit

The Egyptian Machine-Readable Passport (MPR) is issued to Egyptian Citizens for a period of 7 years. The passport is not renewable; one must apply for a new passport after their original has expired.

135 EGP (one hundred and thirty-five Egyptian pounds)



ValidityEdit

Egyptian passports are valid for seven years for adults, and are issued for lesser periods for school or college students.

  5. Education level and its date

  10. Marital Status (and spouse name, if applicable)
  11. National ID number
  12. Previous passport number (if applicable)
  13. References
