Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Obtain a Customs Agent License in person, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Industry and Trade authority.

3. Applicant must obtain the application form from the relevant department.
4. Applicant should read carefully in the application form, after all details must be filled in the application form.
5. Documents that are needed for this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the applicant form while submitting it at the office.
7. A fee for this procedure is has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
8. Submit the completed forms along with the supporting documents at the respective office for verification and processing.
9. This application will be processed and information will be verified by the MTI.
10. If the verification is successful, the notification will be sent to the applicant.
11. After getting the notification from concerned authorities, applicant can visit the office to collect their document.
12. If there is no information regarding the application, then, the applicant can visit the office to know status of the application.
13. The Processing time for this procedure is 3 months.
