Procedure

Apply In Person

1. To Renew Private Investigator License, the applicant has to approach the Federal Police Brazil link
2. If there are any mandatory training or continuing education requirements, ensure that you have completed them before applying for license renewal.
3. This may involve participating in recognized training programs or courses approved by the Brazilian Federal Police.
4. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
5. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)

7. The applicant has to attach photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting it.

10. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
11. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
12. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
13. If the application is approved, the Brazilian Federal Police will issue a renewed private investigator license.The applicant will either receive the license by mail or be notified to collect it from their office.
14. This entire process can be completed within 15 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
