Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. The Renewal of any Post Box Service shall be made to the Botswana Post office, upon receiving notification via SMS, email, and a letter in your post box from the Botswana Post office, informing you that your subscriptions are due Botswana Post Branch Offices Contact Details.
2. Subscribers should visit the nearest Botswana Post Customer Service Centers across the country and express their interest over the counter, to renew your post box services and make cash or card payment of the applicable service fee, as mentioned under the “Fee” section of this page and obtain a payment receipt.
   

Apply Online

1. Visit the Botswana post website e-service portal and select the “E-service” option on the menu bar, then select “Postal Box Renewal”.
2. you will be redirected to the, Post Box Renewal Online page
3. If registered, log in with your credential (E-mail address and Password) and click on the “Log in” button. If you are not yet registered click on the “Register Here” tab. You will be redirected to the Registration Page, fill it accurately then click on the “Submit” tab. Upon successful registering, log in to access the service.
4. You will be redirected to the Post Box Details, select the “Rental Box Location”, “Rental Type”, enter your Post Box number, then click on the “Proceed “tab.
5. “Contact Details” page will be displayed, enter your contact details then click on the “Proceed” tab.
6. A summary page of your post Box Details will be displayed, verify if all the information is in order, then click on the “Pay Now” tab.
7. “Payment Details” page will be displayed, enter your Credit/Debit Card Details and confirm the payment by clicking on the “Pay” tab.
8. If the payment is successful, payment notification will appear on your screen.
   

Via PosoMoney App

1. Registered subscribers with the Posomoney should go to “postal services” on the main menu.
2. Select option of “post box” or “Private Bag”.
3. Select post box “Renew”.
4. Enter your PIN.
5. Enter branch code.
6. Enter Post Box number or Private Bag number.
7. If the payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation of renewal of the post box or private bag service message.
8. Unregistered persons, who wish to be registered as PosoMoney customers and open a PosoMoney account should visit the nearest PosoMoney Agent with their Omang or Passport to be registered.
