Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. The request for Pest Control Services shall be made to the Botswana urban and district council (local authorities) Office.Local Authority Contact Details
2. Applicants are required to collect the Pest Attendance Form. Copies of this form are available at the service desk at any of the local authority offices located countrywide.
3. Applicant should submit the duly completed form to the local authority office within the residences where the service is required.
4. Upon receipt of the request form, the front desk staff will verify if all the necessary information has been provided and that the applications comply with the selection criteria before registering the request.
5. The customer will be required to facilitate the visit of the pest controllers to execute the spraying of the premises by paying the applicable fee at the local authority offices cash counter and obtain a payment receipt as proof of submission of the request.
6. Notification of the visit by the pest control team will be communicated to the applicant by telephone or in-person. i.e within Two (2) working days in urban areas and Seven (7) working days in rural areas.
7. On the appointed date and time, the pest controller’s team will visit the residence where the service was requested and fumigate the residences.
