ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person

  1. Applicants should visit the District and Sub-District Production Office near them with all the required document (listed below) for more information about the application.
  2. Verbally expressing interest to the programme and submit your documents for verification and processing
  3. The department Extension Officer will then visit the site and consult with the neighbouring farming communities and local authorities to your land, so as to promote collective ownership of the fence.
  4. Feasibility studies will then be undertaken to confirm the suitability of the proposed area and the alignment of the perimeter fence.
  5. The Cluster Committee will then apply to the Land Board for the cluster fencing, requesting fencing material and upon receiving of the fencing material the fence will be put up.

EligibilityEdit

Applicants must satisfy the following criteria:

  • Applicants should be aged 18 years and above with valid national identification card (Omang) or residence and work permits.
  • Applicants should have access to land (proof of ownership or leasehold). In case of leasehold, the lease period should not be less than 50 years.

This service is free of charge through a 100% government subsidy.
