Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. The Applicant (Father/Mother/Guardian) has to approach the Marriage Registration Section of the Registrar General’s Department.
2. Visit the following link for Address details Contact Link.
3. The Applicant can get the form from the office.
4. Complete the application form with all details.
5. After filling in all the details, the application must be signed by the applicant.
6. The Marriage Consent Form is then signed by the witness.
7. The following persons can be a witness for a consent of marriage for a minor.
8. Any marriage Officer Justice of the Peace
9. Notary Public
10. Any Legally person authorized to administer oaths
11. The Application must be submitted to the Marriage Registration section of the Registrar General’s Department along with the supporting documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section along with the corresponding fees.
12. On completion of the above process, the marriage consent License will be issued on the same day.

Fees

The processing fee is BS$100.00 for this service.

Validity

The License is valid for 90 days.
