Apply by Mail

  1. To Apply for Inspection and Certification of Plants and Plant Products for Export, the applicant has to approach the U.S. Department of Agriculture (Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service) link
  2. The applicant has to download the form from the following link
  3. The Applicant has to fill in all necessary information in the application form. (Incomplete forms are not accepted)
  4. The applicant has to make sure to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  6. Submit the completed form and the necessary documents to the mailing address of the plant health inspection service.
  7. The mailing address is mentioned in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page.
  8. The fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
  9. Once all the verification process is done by the authority, the applicant receives a notification through mail.
  10. The applicant has to get the permit by visiting the office or download the permit by email.
  11. The processing time for this procedure is up to 7 – 14 days.
