The final administration of the CLAD examination was June 2006. Passing scores for the CLAD, CTEL and CSET:LOTE examinations are valid for certification for five years.

Need for the DocumentEdit
Bilingual Authorizations allow the holders to provide instruction to English Learners (EL). You may obtain a bilingual authorization by examination or by completing a bilingual program approved by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. The authorization may be earned concurrently with or following the initial issuance of your prerequisite teaching Credential.
Following is a procedure on how you can obtain a bilingual authorization based on completion of examinations.
