Apply In Person

1. To Apply for Post Office Box Service, the applicant has to approach the USPS - United States Postal Service link

Note: The applicant has to enter their zip code to find nearby office to them.

2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the authorized officer.
3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form (Incomplete application forms are not accepted)
4. Make sure the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
5. The applicant should attach the photocopies of the required documents while submitting.
6. The fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority request.
7. Submit the application form and the documents to the respective Post office.
8. The authority will review the application form; upon successful completion the authority will intimate about the programme details.
9. The processing time takes for this procedure process is about 1 week.

2. Search for Post Office locations near by the applicant using the search bar under "Reserve a New PO Box."
3. Choose a Post Office location and make selections on the desired PO Box size and payment period.
4. Enter the contact and billing information to reserve the PO Box.

Set Up Automated Payments Step 2:

1. Select "Manage Account" and sign in with the [USPS.com Link] credentials.
2. Find the PO Box on the "Manage Your Account" page and select "Setup Auto-Renew."
3. Change the payment period if the applicant wishes, and enrol in Automatic Renewal.

Link an Existing PO Box Step 3:

1. Select "Link" above and sign in with the [USPS.com Link] credentials.
2. Enter in the PO Box number, ZIP Code, and last name or business name.
3. Confirm the PO Box details and submit. Then the applicant can now manage the PO Box online.

• Valid U.S. driver’s license or state non-driver’s identification card
• U.S. Armed forces, government, university, or recognized corporate employee identification card
• Passport, passport card, alien registration card, or certificate of naturalization
