ProcedureEdit

  • The “Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET)” is conducted by the “Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority on behalf of Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB)” to determine the eligibility of candidates as teachers in government or private schools.
  • There will be an official notification release by the respective board for UPTET. On the issue of notification, the deserving candidates shall apply to register for the UPTET.


Apply Online

  1. The candidate shall use the following link to reach the respective portal to apply online Link
  2. In the given home page, please click on the menu “U.P.Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET)” and choose “U.P.TET” option to reach the “ABOUT UPTET” page.
  3. Here, please click on the “UPTET REGISTRATION” option under “CANDIDATE SERVICES” section for “CANDIDATE REGISTRATION (Dash Board)” page.
  4. The user shall click on the “Click” button next to “Candidate Registration” option provided under “Registration Form” section.
  5. The user will reach the instruction page. Please go through the details and click on the checkbox for the declaration. Once the checkbox is checked, a new button will be provided at the bottom. Please click the button to reach the “PERSONAL DETAILS” page.
  6. Please complete the prompts for “PERSONAL DETAILS” section as appropriate. Once the page prompts are entered/selected, please enter the captcha as appropriate. Now click on the “Next” button at the bottom to get a declaration pop-up.
  7. Please click the checkbox for the declaration and then click on the “Final Submit” button to get a message pop-up.
  8. The user will be advised to check their mobile number and email ID for registration details and also for the next step to do.
  9. Please click on the “Click Here To Proceed” button to reach the “Mobile Number And Email-ID Verification User Sign in” page.
  10. Here, please enter the prompted details as appropriate in the given box as applicable. Please enter the captcha at the prompted space and click on the “Login” button to reach the “QUALIFICATION AND EXAM DETAILS” page.
  11. Here, the applicant will enter / select the details as per page prompt. Please provide the qualification details correctly. Also, please select the examination centre as per the given prompts and then enter the captcha as per the given image at the given space and then click on the “Submit” button to get a declaration pop-up.
  12. Please click on the checkbox for the declaration and then click on the “Final Submit” button to reach a page to change the password.
  13. Please enter the details as appropriate at the prompted space under “One Time Password / PIN :” and process the other prompt as applicable and then click on the “Submit” button to get a new page with registration details.
  14. Please visit the “CANDIDATE REGISTRATION (Dash Board)” page. The applicant shall click on the “Click” button next to “Pay Registration Fee” option provided under “Registration Form” section to reach the “User Sign in” page.
  15. Here, please enter the prompted details as appropriate in the given box as applicable. Please enter the captcha at the prompted space and click on the “Login” button to reach the registration details page.
  16. here, please click on the “Pay Fee” hyperlink under “Step2” to reach the “Payment Details” page.
  17. Please select the checkbox as appropriate and click on the “Proceed for payment” button.
  18. The applicant will reach the payment gateway page as per the selection. Please process the online payment as appropriate and return to registration details page.
  19. The “Step-2” section will have “OK” symbol.
  20. Now please click on the “Fill Registration Part 2” hyperlink under “Step-3” to reach the “Registration Form Part2” page to reach the “CORRESPONDENCE / COMMUNICATION ADDRES DETAILS” page.
  21. Here, the applicant shall enter / select the details as per page prompt. Please enter the captcha as per the given image at the given space and then click on the “Submit” button to get a declaration pop-up.
  22. Please click on the checkbox for the declaration and then click on the “Final Submit” button to reach a message pop-up. Please click on the “Click Here To Upload Document” button to “UPLOAD SCANNED FILES” page.
  23. Please process the page prompts as appropriate to upload the documents as applicable. Enter the captcha at the prompted space and then click on the “Click Here To Preview” button.
  24. Applicant will get a declaration pop-up. Please enter the captcha at the prompted space as applicable. Please click on the checkbox for the declaration and then click on the “Final Submit” button.
  25. The applicant will get a “Confirm !!” pop-up. Please click on the “Yes, please do” button to get a “Document Uploaded Sucessfully” message pop-up. Please click on the “Click Here To Proceed” button to reach the registration details page.
  26. Please click on the “Print Form” option under “Step-5” to get the application form downloaded. Please print it or save for future use.
  27. This application will be processed by the respective department. Once the department approves the application, the applicant will get intimation and the admit card will be provided as per applicable norms.

EligibilityEdit

  • The candidate should be the citizen of India.
  • The age limit for the candidates is 18 Years to 40 Years.
  • For those who belong to SC, ST, and OBC, age relaxation in the upper age limit is 5 Years.
  • Candidates should be class 12 passed or a graduate from a recognized university with a minimum of 45 per cent marks.
  • Candidates should have obtained a Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or completed any other prescribed teacher training programme/course.
