- The “Teachers Eligibility Test (TET)” is conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education to determine the eligibility of candidates as teachers in government or private schools.
- There will be an official notification release by the respective board for TET. On the issue of notification, the deserving candidates shall apply to register for the TET.
Apply Online
- The candidate shall use the following link to reach the respective portal to apply online Link
- In the given home page, please click on the “TET(NOV-2021)” menu (instead of NOV-2021, the current examination period will be provided).
- The applicant will reach the “ONLINE APPLICATION FORM” page. Please scroll down and click on the “DOWNLOAD” button to download the prospectus and go through the details. In the same page, please click on the checkbox for the declaration and then click on the “Register” button under the “New Candidate? (Click Register)” option to reach the online form page.
- Please complete the form prompts as appropriate and click on the “Save” button. The applicant will get a application number in their registered mobile number. This application number and the date of birth of the applicant will be used to login.
- The applicant may go to the “ONLINE APPLICATION FORM” page or please visit the “ONLINE APPLICATION FORM” page. Please scroll down and click on the checkbox for the declaration and then click on the “Sign In” button under the “Already Registered? (Click Sign In)” option to reach the “Login” page.
- In the login page, please enter the login credentials as appropriate. Enter the captcha at the prompted space. Please click on the “Login” button to reach the steps page. Here, the status will be provided.
- The applicant shall click on the “Step-1…” option to edit/modify the application form. If no modification is required, then click on the “Step-2…” option to reach the “Upload Photograph/Signature” page.
- Here, please process the page requirements to upload the photograph and signature as appropriate. Once the upload is complete, please click on the “OK” button to reach the steps page again.
- Now, please click on the “Step-3: Online Fee Payment” option to reach a new page to process the payment. Here, as per the applicants category the fee details will be provided. Please select applicant’s applicable online payment choice to reach the payment gateway. Please process the payment gateway page as appropriate to complete the payment for this procedure.
- Once the payment is made, a system generated confirmation message will be provided. Please use the applicable button to save it for future reference.
- Now the applicant will reach the steps page. Here, please click on the “Step-4: Print Application Form” option to print the application form for future reference.
- This application will be processed by the respective department. Once the department approves the application, the applicant will get intimation and the admit card can be downloaded from the online portal.
- Please visit the home page, please click on the “TET(NOV-2021)” menu (instead of NOV-2021, the current examination period will be provided). In the given page, please click on the “Click here to Download Admit Card CET TET….” hyperlink to get a new page.
- Here, please enter the application number and date of birth of the applicant at the appropriate place as applicable and click on the “Submit” button and follow the resulting onscreen information to get the admit card.

EligibilityEdit
- The candidate should be the citizen of India.
- The age limit for the candidates is 18 Years to 40 Years.
- For those who belong to SC, ST, and OBC, age relaxation in the upper age limit is 5 Years.
- Candidates should be class 12 passed or a graduate from a recognized university with a minimum of 45 per cent marks.
- Candidates should have obtained a Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or completed any other prescribed teacher training programme/course.
FeesEdit
- Fee Rs.800/- for general candidate and Rs.500/- for OBC/ST/SC/PHH categories.
- Late fee of Rs.300/- will be charged.
ValidityEdit
- The approved application is valid for the period (year) for which the examination is notified.
