Zamboanga City - Register Chainsaw

This procedure explains various ways to Register Chainsaw in Zamboanga City.

You are a Philippine resident. You are a holder of a subsiting Tenurial Instrument such as Production Sharing Agreement, Timber License Agreement, Co-production Sharing Agreement, or a Private Land Timber Permit/Special Private Land Timber Permit, CBFMA, IFMA, SIFMA, or other similar Tenurial instruments. You are an Orchard/Fruit Tree Farmer or Industrial Tree Farmer. You are a Licensed Wood Processor. You are agency of the government, government-owned and controlled corporations. You are a person who can show satisfactory proof that the possession and/or use of chainsaws is for legal purpose. You can register Chainsaw by following the below guidelines:

Prepare the requirements:

Duly accomplished application form ;
Proof of the Detailed specification of chainsaws to be registered such as: Brand, Model, Engine Capacity, Serial Number; Purpose of Use; Area/Location the chainsaw will be used; Name of Owner; Date of Purchase; and Name of Dealer;
Copy of the Tenurial Instrument for holder of a subsisting Tenurial Instrument;
Proof of ownership of chainsaw registration fee such as Sales Invoice, Deed of Sale, etc. for holder of a subsisting Tenurial Instrument, Orchard/Fruit Tree Farmer or Insdustrial Tree Farmer, or Licensed Wood Processor;
Copy of Certificate of Tree Plantation Ownership (CTPO) for an Orchard/Fruit Tree Farmer or Industrial Tree Farmer;
Certification from the concerned Barangay Captain in case of an orchard or tree farmer;
Copy of the approved Wood Processing Plan Permit (WPPP) in case of a Licensed Wood Processor;
Certification from the Head of Office/the authorized representative, that the chainsaws are owned/possessed by the office and will be used for legal purpose, specify the purpose of use in case of agency of the government, government-owned and controlled corporations;
Copy of the Business Permit from the Local Government Unit or Affidavit that the chainsaw is needed in the applicant’s work/profession, and will be used for legal purpose in case of a person who can show proof of using chainsaws for legal purpose.

Application for Chainsaw Registration

Please visit a suitable DENR Office Office Locations.
Present the required documents and follow the entire officer’s guiding to pay the applicable fees, forward copy of Order of Payment (OR) to the CENRO Focal Person and wait for obtaining Certicate of Registration.

EligibilityEdit

Philippine resident; and

FeesEdit

Php500 per chainsaw

ValidityEdit

2 years for chainsaw using for legitimate purpuses;
5 years for Non-commercial orchard, fruit tree farmers, similar entities whose line of business or work are not relate to wood and/or timber production, processing and trade.
