Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Once in every year an individual or company registered under the RGD shall deliver to the Registrar for registration renewal notice in the prescribed form renewing the registration.
2. To apply for Renew Single Business Permit, the applicant must go to the RGD office.

4. Applicant must obtain the application form for Renew Single Business Permit from RGD department.
5. Submit completed application form and all attachments in person to the RGD office in applicant’s locality.
6. The RGD officer-in-charge shall examine, in applicant’s presence, that his/her application form has been dully completed. Insist on this.
7. The date of collection of Registration Certificate shall be written on applicants payment receipt.
8. The RGD Office shall inform applicant in writing if there are any queries with his/her application.
9. After that, applicants have to pay the application fee.
10. After verifying the application form, the applicant will be provided with the Single Business Permit.
11. With the fee receipt, the permit/license card must be printed in the Printing office.
12. The processing time for this procedure takes 2-3 weeks.

Eligibility

• Applicant must be in possession of an expired single business permit.

Fees

• Application fee: GHS. 200
• Permit fees:
• Large trader (21-50 employees): GHS. 20,000
• Medium Trader (5-20 employees): GHS. 10,000

Validity

• Validity for this certificate for 1 year.
