Apply In-Person

  1. To renew Fitness Certificate in Daman and Diu the applicant has to approach the RTO office of his area.
  2. Please follow our “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page to get details of the RTO offices.

  5. Also make sure you have all the necessary documents to process the application.
  6. The applicant should make sure they are eligible for applying for this procedure.
  7. Make sure you have completed application form CFRA.: form CFRA
  8. Application forms can be obtained from the appropriate RTO offices
  9. The applicant should bring in their vehicle for inspection.
  10. Present the completed application forms in the counter and pay the appropriate fee where the officials would start processing your application.

Apply Online:

  1. To renew vehicle fitness certificate (FC) online in Daman & Diu, the applicant shall visit the following website:Link
  2. Enter the vehicle registration number, state and concerned RTO to click on the "Proceed" button on the webpage.
  3. From the drop down "Online Services" menu, select the option "Fitness Certificate" and provide the chassis number and mobile number .
  4. Now click on the "Generate OTP" button and receive an OTP in the registered mobile number.
  5. The applicant shall enter the received OTP on the prompted field and click on the "Show Details" button.
  6. On a newly opened page, fill in all the required details as instructed on-screen.
  7. Provide all the insurance details and click on the "Payment" button as displayed on the webpage.
  8. On a pop up screen, click on the "Confirm Payment" option as displayed.
  9. The applicant will be redirected to the payment gateway page, select “SBIePAY” and click on "Continue".
  10. Now accept the terms and conditions and click the checkbox.
  11. Find the Payment details displayed along with a list of banks associated with SBIePAY.
  12. Select the appropriate bank from the list and click on the " Proceed" button.
  13. On a pop up page, select the "Pay Now" button and proceed.
  14. Now, a page will be opened where the applicant shall select the "Successful" option. Clicking on "Decline" may lead to the cancellation of the process.
  15. If bank status is successful, the transactions will be approved and the e-fee receipt will be generated.
  16. The application letter will be generated by clicking on the "Print Owner Details" option.
  17. The applicant shall download the letter and keep it for future reference.
  18. The applicant may also visit Link and provide the requested details to get a print of the fitness certificate.



Apply through Centres:

  1. To Renew Vehicle Fitness Certificate (FC) in Daman & Diu, the applicant shall visit the nearest CSC/Tehsil Centre. Find contacts to CSC centres in the link provided:Link
  2. Procure the mandatory application form from the concerned centre and fill it up with the necessary details required for the certificate.
  3. Make sure to attach all the "Required Documents" along with the application form before submission.
  4. Provide authorized signatory and photograph, wherever applicable.
  5. Now, submit the application to the office of the concerned centre and obtain the receipt.
  6. Make the requisite payment required for the process (if applicable).
  7. After successful verification, the Renewed Vehicle Fitness Certificate (FC) will be issued by the concerned authority.
  8. Obtain the certificate from the concerned CSC centre by showing the acknowledgement slip.

ValidityEdit

  • In case of Private vehicles the fitness certificates is valid for 15 years and there after renewed at every 5 years
  • In case of Transport Vehicles the fitness certificate is issued for a new vehicle for 2 years and subsequently renewed every year

Need for the DocumentEdit

  • Fitness Certificate is an official document certifying that the holder’s vehicle is fit to drive at public places. As this certificate is a very important document in renewal of permits. The renewal of fitness certificate is highly regarded.
  • The registration of vehicle is treated as valid only if the vehicle has valid certificate of fitness. Fitness certificate for a vehicle in Arunachal Pradesh is required to renew the current status of the vehicle
  • The fitness is checked and certified by the Registering Authority
  • Fitness certificate is issued to check the pollution caused by the emission of smoke from the vehicles, to maintain the vehicle in proper condition and to avoid accidents
