Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for getting a Spouse or Family Visa is available in Tanzania Immigration Head Office contact link
2. Applicant must provide all information that is requested in the application form.
3. Applicant should carry both photocopies and originals of all the documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant should attach all required documents (both photocopies and originals, whichever is necessary) along with the application form before submitting them at the office.
6. Fee for this procedure can be paid as per authority’s request.
7. If all these procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the research permit will be provided within a stipulated period of time.
8. If there is no information regarding the permit is provided within the stipulated time, the applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.

2. Applicant must provide the “Email Address” and “Passport Number” and other information and then click on “Start New Application” for starting the new application.
3. Applicant should make sure to provide all information that is requested in the application form.
4. Applicant must upload digital copies of documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
5. Fee for this procedure can be paid online.
6. If all these procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the visa will be provided within stipulated period of time.
7. If there is no information regarding the visa is provided by concerned authorities, the applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.
