ProcedureEdit

  1. Visit a Police Passport Office to apply for a passport.
  2. Fill up an application form.
  3. Present and submit the required documents.
  4. Have your photo taken.
  5. Pay the fee.

    • a valid Swedish national ID card
    • a valid Swedish driver's license
    • a Swedish SIS-branded ID card or an ID card issued by a government authority
  • Your old passport (if it is still valid)

InstructionsEdit

  • All Swedish passport applicants (including children and adolescents) must apply personally at the police passport offices.
  • Photographs of the applicants will be taken at the office. There's no need to bring a photo.
  • For applicants who are under 18 years old, a written consent from their guardians is required.
  • If the applicants don't have a valid identification, their husband, wife, parent, grandparent, or sibling of legal age can attest to their identity.
  • You can collect your own passport if you are 18 years old and above. For those who have turned 15, you can collect the passport yourself if the custodian admits it and it is noted when you submit the application. You need to show an approved identification.
