Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for cancelling Registration for Separate Business in person, the applicant has to visit the nearest branch of South African Revenue Service (SARS).

3. Visit the nearest branch of SARS and get an Application for the Cancellation of Registration of a Separately Registered Business (EMP 123T Form) from the relevant department. Or click here to download: Link
4. Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required documents” section of this page.
5. Now, complete the application form with relevant information a under respective sections as required.
6. After completing, attach all the documents with the completed Application form and submit it to the concerned official at the branch office.
7. The application and attached documents will be set to proceed for further verification and validation processes by respective authorities.
8. After all the necessary processes, registration of the particular separate branch or business will be cancelled as you requested.
