Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for Private Special Vehicle Permit in Goa the applicant has to approach the RTO office to which his area belongs to.

3. Application form can be downloaded using the following link: Application forms
   
4. Make sure you have completed application form for Private Service Vehicle Permit. : Private Service Vehicle Application forms
   
5. Application forms can be obtained from the appropriate RTO offices that can be completed and presented with appropriate fees.
   
6. Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed down the “Required Document” section of this page.
   
7. Present the completed application forms in one of the counter and pay the appropriate fee where the officials would start processing your application.
   
8. After checking the vehicle for its correctness and other appropriate requirements the application will be processed. Important verifications for the permit includes Vehicle condition, Meter for fare, seating arrangements etc., will be carried by authorities.

Need for the Document

• Special permits are granted to those Transport Vehicles which intends to ply to a State other than the Home State. Special Permits are issued in some special occasion and remain valid for a very limited period or for one round trip.
  
• An application for a permit to use a motor vehicle as a private service vehicle shall contain the following particulars, namely:--
  

• Type and seating capacity of the vehicle
  
• The area or the route or routes to which the application relates
  
• The manner in which it is claimed that the purpose of carrying persons
  
  

Information which might help

• One needs to provide the declaration to use the vehicle only for faring employees or laborers of a Company/Firm/Institute to ferry them to the place of business or back.
  
• Disproportionate asset case should not be pending against the vehicle for issue of permit.
