Apply In Person

  1. To Apply for SSS (social security system) Salary Loan, the applicant has to approach the Social Security System link
    NOTE: Select the region, and branch and click the “Search” button.
  2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer. or download it from the following link
  3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  4. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  6. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
  7. There is no fee for SSS Salary Loan.
  8. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  9. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
  10. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  11. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
  12. This entire process can be completed within 5 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.


Apply online

  1. To Apply for SSS (social security system) Retirement Benefit, the applicant has to use the followinglink
  2. Log in to the My. SSS account by clicking the "MEMBER" button (on the right side of the page under "PORTAL").
  3. Look for the "E-services" tab on the menu then click "Submit SSS Salary loan Application".
  4. The applicant will be required to enter his/her separation date in the space provided. Once the applicant is done click the "PROCEED" button.
  5. On the next page, please review the address, contact details, and employment history. If correct, proceed to check your eligibility to receive a retirement benefit.
  6. Answer some questions regarding employment as a mineworker and racehorse jockey (if applicable) as well as having dependent child/ren.
  7. Indicate on the application on base of the applicant's wish to avail of the advance 18 months retirement pension, by either clicking "YES" or "NO".
  8. The applicant has to read the terms and click "Certify and Proceed".
  9. Enter all the necessary details in the application form.
  10. Also, upload the necessary documents which are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  11. Once completed, click the “Submit” button.
  12. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  13. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
  14. This entire process can be completed within 5 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

  • For applications filed by Employer/Company's Authorized Representative:
  • Member-borrower's duly accomplished Member Loan Application
  • Authorized Company Representative (ACR) card issued by SSS
  • Letter of Authority (LOA) from employer and any two (2) valid IDs both with signature and at least one with photo
  • Member-borrower's SS card or in its absence, Application for SS card (SS Form E-6) acknowledgment stub and any two valid Ids both with signature and at least one with photo.

EligibilityEdit

The applicant must be:

  • Currently employed, currently contributing self-employed or voluntary member.
  • For a one-month loan, the member-borrower must have thirty-six (36) posted monthly contributions, six (6) of which should be within the last twelve (12) months before the month of filing of the application.
  • For a two-month loan, the member-borrower must have seventy-two (72) posted monthly contributions, six (6) of which should be within the last twelve (12) months before the month of filing of the application.
  • The employer must be updated on the payment of contributions.
  • The applicant has not been granted the final benefit, i.e., total permanent disability, retirement, and death
  • The applicant must be under sixty-five (65) years of age at the time of application
  • The applicant has not been disqualified due to fraud committed against the SSS.
