Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To start a simple partnership company, applicant has to visit the commercial registration and licenses department at the MOCI office.

3. Applicant has to visit the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and obtain the application form from the respective officer.
4. Applicant has to check for the trade name availability as the first step. If available, applicant can register the trade name at the official company registry.
5. To register a trade name, applicant has to submit a service request to the public service officer at MOCI or any of its branches.
6. After receiving your trade name, now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
7. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
8. Check the application form and then submit it to the public service officer in the commercial registration and licenses department in the MOCI office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
9. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
10. Authorities will inspect the facilities that are related to the simple partnership company and if they are satisfied with the standards followed the authorities will provide the franchise permission.
11. The applicant will be later requested to collect the simple partnership company License on a specified date.

• A simple partnership company must have several liable partners or several sleeping or silent partners.
• The active liable partners must be aware of the standard that sleeping partners hold no responsibility to the company’s obligations expect their shares in the capital.
• Print out the articles of association document via the Investor Services, then fill it out and get it certified from the Ministry of Justice, before adding it to the other attachments.

• A general partnership company do not have to pay income tax, instead of each partner files the profits or losses of the business on his or her own personal income tax return.
