Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To sell business or company, applicant has to visit the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) office.

3. Applicant has to visit the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) and obtain the application form from the respective officer.
4. Application form can be downloaded from the below link: application form

5. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
7. Check the application form and then submit it to the public service officer in the MOCI office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
8. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
9. After verification process, the applicant will be later requested to collect the commercial register after applying the required modification on a specified date.

• Copy of personal identification documents or passport cards for non-Qatari partners and applicant.
• Copy of commercial registration.
• A competent authorities' approval of the commercial activities in case the activity or partners require prior approval.
• Sale contract authenticated by the Ministry of Justice.

• Applicant who have commercial registration are eligible to apply.
• Applicant who have sale contract authenticated by the Ministry of Justice are eligible to apply.
• Qataris who have Qatar ID card and Non-Qataris who have passport are eligible to apply.
