Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Torenew environmental permit for industrial facilities, applicant has to visit the Environmental Assessment and Licensing Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office.

3. Obtain the application form from the respective officer at Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office.
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the environmental assessment and licensing department in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, environmental permit for industrial facilities will be renewed.

Required Documents

• Copy of project owner QID.
• Commercial registration or establishment ID of the company executing the project.
• Copy of previous environmental permit or operational permit.
• Letter of renewal request from the relevant government or administrative body, or the owner (as per each case) stamped with seal of company, owner or competent administrative body.
• Copy of land allocation letter or lease contract.
• Site map with coordinates.
• Two softcopies (CD) of each of the above.

Eligibility

• Applicant who have commercial registration or establishment ID card are eligible to apply.
• Applicant who is having the previous environmental permit or operational permit can apply for renewal.
• Applicant has to renew the license one month before the expiry period.
