Procedure

Citizens and residents can submit a request online, through the Ministry of Interior (MOI) website, to issue travel notifications for expatriates who are under their sponsorship, so that they could leave the State of Qatar, within a specific period of time.

Apply Online

1. The first step is to log in with your smartcard to the e-services portal of the Ministry of Interior (MOI) by clicking on the MOI Services tab and selection the E-services option.
2. If you do not have an account with the MOI e-portal, you have to register for the services using your smart card.
3. Once logged in, select “Leave Notification Services” option on the dashboard then click on the “Travel Notification for Persons Expatriates” link.
4. Enter the visa number for the persons you wish to issue travel notification for, in the “Persons Data” list, and click on “Add”, then “Next” button.
5. Select the vacation type and period in the “Request Details” list.
6. Click on “Next” button , and then submit the application. This will cause the travel notification to be processed online.
7. Once done, you can print the notice form the e-service platform
8. This service is free of charge.

Need for the Document

• This service enables individuals to request travel notifications for expatriates under their sponsorship, so that they could leave the State of Qatar for within a specific period of time.
• Sponsored individuals need a travel notification to be able to obtain an exit permit to travel outside Qatar.

Information which might help

• Travel notifications can be issued for a maximum of five persons in one time (i.e. in a single work session on the website).
• You may also change the way of displaying the persons’ list details such as “No Valid Notification” or “All”.
• The applicant may obtain a copy of the travel notification via his/her email address previously registered in the system, through entering it in its respective field.
• This service is also available on Metrash2 mobile app.
• You need a smart card to access the Metrash 2 mobile App
