Establishments can submit a request online, on the Ministry of Interior (MOI) website, to issue travel notification for expatriates recruited from their side, so that they could leave the State of Qatar, within a specific period of time.
Apply Online
- The first step is to log in with your smartcard to the e-services portal of the Ministry of Interior (MOI) by clicking on the MOI Services tab and selection the E-services option.
- If you do not have an account with the MOI e-portal, you have to register for the services using your smart card.
- Once logged in, select “Leave Notification Services” Option on the dashboard then click on the “Travel Notification for Company Expatriates” link.
- Enter the visa number for the persons you wish to issue travel notification for, in the “Persons Data” list, and click on “Add”, then “Next” button.
- Select the vacation type and period in the “Request Details” list.
- Click on “Next” button, and then submit the application. This will cause the travel notification to be processed online.
- Once done, you can print the notice form the e-service platform
- This service is free of charge.

Need for the DocumentEdit
- This service enables establishments to request travel notifications for expatriates under their sponsorship so that they could leave the State of Qatar for within a specific period of time.
- Sponsored individuals need a travel notification to be able to obtain an exit permit to travel outside Qatar.
Information which might helpEdit
- Travel notifications can be issued for a maximum of 10 persons in one time (i.e. in a single work session on the website).
- The applicant may obtain a copy of the travel notification via his/her email address previously registered in the system, through entering it in its respective field.
- In case of the inability to issue a travel notification for any expatriate, the reason will be mentioned.
- This service is also available on Metrash2 mobile app.
- You need a smart card to access the Metrash 2 mobile App
