Procedure

Apply Online

1. To apply for garden design through online, visit the following link: online portal
2. If you already have an account, please enter your user name or personal number and password then click on applicable button.
3. If you don’t have an account, click on “Register now” hyperlink and enter the appropriate details then click on applicable button.
4. You will receive an SMS with the password to your registered mobile number.
5. You will be redirected to a screen in which contain login successful message and tap on the “Return to login page” option to login.
6. After successful Login, click on “Environmental Awareness and Education” option then click on the “Apply to Design Garden” option.
7. Now complete the form with personal details and garden specifications. Then you can upload the required documents mentioned in the required documents section below and click on “Save” button.
8. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
9. After verification process, you will receive an Email or SMS for further processing.

Required Documents

For house garden:

• Copy of Qatar ID card.
• Copy of title deed, and attachment of plot layout and area.
• Copy of building permit, and copy of building completion certificate (in case of living in the house).
• Photocopy of house building and yard.

For garden of company or educational, military or public institution:

• Official letter from entity requesting design.
• Photocopy of the place requiring design.
• Copy of commercial registration or establishment ID card.

• Company, educational, military or public institution who have commercial registration or establishment ID card are eligible to apply.

Instructions

• Applicant shall submit an online request to the environmental awareness department in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) to apply to design garden.
• After submitting the application, the applicant shall attend in person to MME and bring a map defining the building area of the house and the fence using AutoCAD, and copied on a CD. This can be obtained from the company that has designed the house.
• The location of the water tank and the parking lot has to be specified on the map.
