Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for street closures for special events, applicant has to visit the General Directorate of Traffic department at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) office.

3. Obtain the application form from the respective officer at MOI office.
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the General Directorate of Traffic Department in Ministry of Interior (MOI) office. The address mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, street will be closed for special events.

1. To apply for street closures for special events through online, visit the following link: online portal
2. After visiting website, please select “E-services” then login with your smartcard to the e-services portal of MOI.
3. After successful login, please click on "Traffic Services" menu and then click on "Street Closure" option.
4. In the ‘Applicant’ page, please enter the applicant basic information and click on applicable button.
5. In the ‘License Details’ page, please enter the required information and click applicable button.
6. In the ‘Address’ page, please enter the required information and click applicable button.
7. In the ‘Closure Timings’ page, please enter the start and end date and time of the closure and click applicable button.
8. In the ‘Attachments’ page, you can upload the required documents mentioned in the required documents section below then click on applicable button.
9. In the ‘Summary’ page, you can review your entered information.
10. After reviewing your information, click on "Send" button to send your application.
11. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
12. After verification process, street will be closed for special events.

• Title deed.
• Municipality permit (in case of demolition or construction).

• Citizen, residents and companies shall submit a request to the General Directorate of Traffic department at Ministry of Interior (MOI) to apply for street closures for special events.
