Procedure

Establishments may submit an online request to the Standing Committee for Recruitment at the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs in order to receive residency extension approval to workers provided that the approval issuance date does not exceed five years.

Apply Online

1. To apply for a Residency extension approval, an establishment’s authorized individual has to visit the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor & Social Affairs e-services portal to make the application .To do this you have to to visit the MADLSA website
2. Once you visit the site , navigate to the “Services” tab and scroll down and click on the “E-Services & E-forms” link.
3. Here , search for the online application form on the website by searching for "Residency extend Approval" on the search box and clicking on the magnifying glass icon.
4. Click on the “Residency extend Approval” link to proceed yo the next page.
5. On the next page click on the “Apply” button to begin the application process.
6. Enter the Establishment ID number, the registered QID number, and registered phone number and click on the “Enter” button to submit your request.
7. The Standing Committee for Recruitment at the Ministry of Administrative Development will go through your application and if everything thing is in order your application will be approved.
8. Once approved an approval certificate will be sent to your e-account.
9. You can print the certificate from your MADLSA e-portal.
10. The application is free of charge.

• With a Residence Permit, one can continue working in Qatar, access many other services, apply for further permits and licenses, sign a rental accommodation agreement, apply for a loan, and the list goes on.
