Apply In Person

1. To Apply for Cancellation of PROSEC (Sector Promotion Program) and IMMEX (Program of the Manufacturing, Maquiladora and Export Services Industry) Registration, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Economy link
2. The applicant has to write a request letter for cancellation.
3. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
5. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
7. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
8. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
9. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
10. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
11. The authorities will review the application and conduct a compliance verification process to ensure that all obligations under the PROSEC and IMMEX programs have been met.
12. Once the authorities have reviewed the application and verified compliance, they will issue a notice of cancellation for both the PROSEC and IMMEX registrations.
13. If you have physical registration certificates, you may be required to return them to the authorities as part of the cancellation process.
14. Ensure that all outstanding obligations related to the PROSEC and IMMEX programs are fully met before the cancellation is finalized.
15. This entire process can be completed within 2 weeks or per the timeline the respective department authority advised.
