Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Registration of Potential Suppliers/Contractors in person, the applicant should contact Mauritius Agricultural Services. Contact link
2. Applicant can download the application form from this link - link or link or Applicants should obtain the application form from the authority.
3. Applicants need to Fill in the form with the necessary details like name, address, contact number, email id, etc.
4. Applicants need to attach the relevant documents required for the application such as a valid identification document, valid business license, proof of registration of the company, and proof of payment of all applicable taxes and they can be found under the ‘Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicants should submit the form along with the necessary documents to the relevant authority in Mauritius.
6. The registration fee should be paid at the Ministry of Agro-Industry and Food Security and the fee details can be found under the “Fees” section of this page.
7. Once the application is received, it will be reviewed, and the relevant authority will decide on the eligibility of the applicant for registration.
8. The authority will review the application and documents and issue the registration certificate if the requirements are met.
9. The authority will also assign the applicant a unique identification number.
10. The applicant can then use this identification number to participate in the bidding process and other activities related to potential suppliers and contractors.
11. Generally, the processing time can range from a few weeks to several months.

Eligibility

• All companies, contractors and suppliers who are registered in Mauritius are eligible for registration as potential suppliers and contractors in Mauritius.
• To be eligible, they must have a valid Mauritian business license and be in good standing with the Mauritian government.
• Companies must also provide proof of their financial solvency and a valid bank account.

Fees

• Generally, the fees range from Rs. 500 to Rs. 20,000

Validity

• The validity for registration of potential suppliers and contractors in Mauritius is three years. Registration can be renewed for an additional three years upon application.
