Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for replacing lost work permit in person, the applicant has to visit the office of the Nigerian Immigration Service.

3. Visit the Immigration office and obtain an application form to apply for replacing lost work permit from the relevant department.
4. Complete the application as applicable with required information and relevant details under respective sections.
5. Attest it with your signature and it must also be signed and stamped by your employer in Nigeria.
6. Attach the documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section of this page with the completed form.
7. Submit the application form package to the relevant authority at the office.
8. Also pay the required amount of fees as directed by the officials.
9. After submission, the application and attached documents will be forwarded for further verification and processing.
10. Further decisions will be made by the officials as applicable and you will be communicated for the further things to be done.
11. Once when the document is ready, the office will contact you regarding the collection of the document.
