Apply In-Person:
- To Obtain Housing Estate Registration in person, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Housing and Land Use Planning. Contact link
- The applicant has to fill in the Form which is the Application for Registration of Housing Estate.
- Along with the application form, the applicant has to submit a plan of the proposed housing estate which should be prepared in accordance with the standards and specifications.
- The applicant has to also provide the necessary documents such as the Certificate of Title of the land, the Notarial Deed of Sale (if applicable), a certificate of compliance from the relevant local authority and the tax clearance certificate and they can be found under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to also provide the necessary financial documents such as the project budget, the feasibility study and the financial statement.
- The applicant has to submit the application form and the required documents to the Ministry of Housing and Land Use Planning.
- The Ministry of Housing and Land Use Planning will review the application and the documents submitted by the applicant.
- After reviewed the documents, the Ministry of Housing and Land Use Planning will conduct a site inspection of the proposed housing estate.
- The Ministry of Housing and Land Use Planning will issue the Certificate of Registration of the Housing Estate upon approval of the application.
- The applicant has to then pay the registration fees to the Registrar of Companies.
- A fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
- The applicant should get a copy of the Certificate of Registration of the Housing Estate from the Ministry of Housing and Land Use Planning.
- The processing time for obtaining Housing Estate Registration takes up to 2 weeks. This period varies depending on the complexity of the application and the availability of the relevant documents.
