Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for renewing Flight Radio Telephony Operator License in person, the applicant has to visit the office of Nigerian Civil Aviations Authority.
2. The address and contact details of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) can be found in the following Link.
3. Visit the NCAA office with an application letter made in writing and duly signed by a person authorised by the applicant to request for renewal of Flight Radio Telephony Operator License from the relevant department.
4. Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Attach the required documents with the application form.
6. Then, proceed to submit the application package to the Director General at the office in person for further processes.
7. Upon receipt of the application and the attached documents, the application will be subjected to an evaluation process in the Licensing Directorate by Licence Examiners/ASI.
8. The applicant will be issued a payment slip for processing fees and will be directed to pay at a designated bank.
9. The teller is presented to NCAA cash office where an official receipt of payment is obtained and submitted at the Licensing Directorate upon which the application is processed.
10. Once the verification and validation processes are over, the application will be approved and the officials will proceed to take required steps to issue the license.
11. When the License is ready to be collected, the applicant will receive a formal notification from the office and the applicant can collect it by any applicable means.

Instructions

• It is important that the completed form must contain all the information required properly and the form must be filled legibly, in order to get accepted by the Authority.

• Make sure that you attach all the required documents as specified by the authority to avoid rejections.

• The application must be submitted to the Director General, Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) on before the date of expiration of the existing license.
