Apply In-Person:
- To Get Incentives under the Mauritian Diaspora Scheme in person, the applicant has to approach the Economic Development Board, Mauritius link
- The applicant should obtain the application form from the Economic Development Board.
- After obtaining the application form, the applicant has to fill the form with all necessary information and details.
- The applicant should attach all necessary documents to the application form.
- The applicant should submit the completed application form and other documents to the Economic Development Board.
- Along with the registration form, they must submit the required documents. These documents will be used to verify their identity, address and banking details and they can be found under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant will then need to pay the prescribed fees to proceed with the registration process.
- A fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
- The EDB will then review the application and may request additional information if required.
- The Economic Development Board will review the application and all the documents submitted by the applicant.
- If the application is approved, the Economic Development Board will issue an approval letter to the applicant.
- The applicant will then be eligible to receive incentives under the Mauritian Diaspora Scheme.
- The applicant can avail the benefits of the scheme and will be able to access the approved incentives.
- Generally, the processing time is approximately two weeks, but this can vary if the number of applications is high.
