Procedure

Apply Online

1. To apply for obtaining Content Equipment Certificate online, the applicant has to first create a Service Company profile in the NOGIC JQS portal.
2. For that, first send a letter of intent and other required documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page, to the following email ID: [email protected]
3. Nigerian Content Development & Monitoring Board administrator creates the service company profile. An email notification would be sent to the default email address containing the login information (username and password).
4. If you have not received your user name and password combination, contact the NCDMB system administrator whose contact number is as follows: 016310962
5. After Successful creation of your portal user account as a service company on the NOGIC JQS Platform, login using your username (default email address) and portal password.
6. Upon successful login, update your company’s basic profile and upload the logo of your company. Update your company capacity profile information across the required dimensions as instructed.
7. After that, the applicant should notify its interest to obtain a Content Equipment Certificate to the board through email or any other applicable means.
8. On receipt of the notification, the board will forward a template for Content Equipment Certificate through email, which will contain information about supporting documents and other required information.
9. The applicant should prepare an Official Application letter addressed to the Executive Secretary, for the Certificate and forward the letter along with all other documents in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
10. The application should be submitted to the Board in Hard Copy in person, by the applicant.
11. After submission, the application and other documents will be forwarded for examination and verification processes.
12. When the verification and validation processes are over, the application will be approved and the officials will proceed to take required steps to issue the certificate.
13. On successful registration, the applicant will receive a formal notification from the office through mail, for collecting certificate.

Eligibility

• Nigerian companies that assemble, manufacture or calibrate equipments, can apply.
• The company should have an account with the NCDMB as a Service Company.
  

Fees

Validity

• Category A Certificate: 2 years
• Category B and C Certificate: 1 year
