ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply or get an Air Traffic Controllers Licence in person, the applicant has to visit the office of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.
  2. The address and contact details of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) can be found in the following contact link
  3. Visit the NCAA office and obtain an application form to apply or get an Air Traffic Controllers Licence from the relevant department.
  4. Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Complete the application form with necessary details and attach the required documents with the completed form.
  6. Then, proceed to submit the application package to the Director General at the office in person for further processes.
  7. Pay the cost of application and processing of license including the license fees as directed by the officials.
  8. After successful payment, the Authority carries out a cursory review on the application package.
  9. If the submitted information is found sufficient, the application will be approved and the officials to make necessary arrangements to issue the license.
  10. The applicant will be contacted through his/her phone number or email address and asked to collect the license.

  • Any person in Nigeria, who wishes to practice as an Air Traffic Controller, can apply.
  • The applicant must be at least 21 years old and he/she must have completed relevant training in any accredited aviation training organization
