Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To get Certificate of Quality Fumigation and Weight in person, the applicant has to visit the office of the Nigeria Port Authority.

3. Visit the office and obtain a Request for Quality Fumigation and Weight form from the relevant department.
4. Make sure that you have all the documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Complete the application form and submit it to the relevant authority at the office.
6. Complete the application form as required with appropriate details and information. Attest the application form with your signature.
7. Attach the documents with the completed application form.
8. Submit the application form and attached documents to the relevant authority at the office. Pay the applicable fees as directed by the officials.
9. After submission, the technical officers will conduct Quality Fumigation and Weighing of the products and goods.
10. Upon approval of the application request, the applicant is informed regarding the approval through phone or email and asked to collect the Certificate through any applicable means.
