Procedure

Apply Online

1. To apply to Immigrate by Being Nominated by a Canadian Province or Territory (Express entry process) the applicant can approach Immigration and Citizenship Canada. Here is the contact link
2. The applicant will need to create an account and an express entry profile. Use the Link
3. If the applicant does not have an account, follow these steps:
   • On the login page, click on “Register”.
   • If the applicant is using GCkey, they will need a username and password to register.
   • If the applicant is registering using a sign-in partner, they will have to enter information about their place of work and bank details.
   • Agree to the terms and conditions.
   • The account will be created.
   • If the applicant is applying using GCKey, agree to the terms and conditions.
   • Enter username and click on “Continue”.
   • Create a password and click on “Next”.
   • Enter security questions and answers and click on “Submit”, the account has been created.
   • Now, log in to the account.
4. Once logged in, the applicant will need to create an express entry profile by entering their National Occupational Classification (NOC) job title and code.
5. The applicant will need to submit additional documents as mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. Once the information is entered, the applicant can submit their profile to the pool.
7. If the applicant gets invited, they will need to complete the application within 60 days.
8. Most applicants are ranked based on a point-based system, if the applicant gets invited, they will receive a mail.
9. The applicant will then need to apply for permanent residence.

Eligibility

Eligibility for Canadian experience class:

• The applicant must meet the minimum language criteria.
• The applicant must have at least one year of skilled work experience in Canada before applying for the provincial nomination program.
• The applicant must not be a refugee claimant in Canada.
