Apply through Phone Call
- You can apply by calling "14567" which is a National Helpline for the Elders and they should be able to facilitate you to get a Senior Citizen Certifiate or Identity Card.
Apply Online through Aaplesarkar
- Please use the following link to access the portal : Aaplesarkar
- If you are already a registered user, please login to portal Or if you are a new user to the portal, please register yourself by clicking the "New User/Register Here" to register yourself.
- After logging in, search for "Senior Citizen Certificate" and click on the option display under "Social Justice and Special Assistance Department" department and proceed with the application.
Apply through CSC Center / Maha E-Seva Kendra
- To apply for Senior Citizen Certificate, the applicant has to approach the nearest CSC : Link
- NOTE:To check the contact details of the CSC centre, please select the District and Block.
- The applicant has to visit the nearest centre.
- The applicant has to inform all the details to the respective operator.
- The operator will enter the details in the portal with the given details.
- The applicant apply through the operator.
- Please pay as per applicable service charges if any.
Required Documents
- Application form.
- Two photographs of the applicant.
- Aadhaar card
- ID card of the applicant (Pension book/ School certificate/ Identity Card issued by competent authority OR Bank passbook with photo)
- Residential Proof(Ration cards/Valid Passport/Voter ID card)
- Pan card ( For Monthly Pension above Rs.15,000 per month)
- Birth certificate / document to prove the age
- Residence certificate issued by Competent Authority for the said period as required.

Need for the Document
- The Government of India provides facilities for citizens above the age of 60 years. In order to avail those facilities one has to get the certificate.
- The senior citizen certificate will allow the holder to receive numerous benefits like discounts in Railways, Flights and other benefits from the government.
Information which might help
- Without cross signature(half on paper and half on photograph) and signature on undertaking, the application will be rejected
- One has to produce the card to prove the authorities whenever asked for. So, this card must be carried always.
- NOTE : It is a punishable offense to try with fraudulent documents to get a Senior citizen certificate

The senior citizen ID Card helps senior citizens avail the benefits of various government schemes. It also is an important aid for senior citizens as it carries details of their blood group, allergies, ailment and medication and also an emergency contact.
