 This procedure explains various ways to Apply for Recognition as Filipino in Valenzuela. 
 
You are a foreign national. Your father and/or mother were Filipino citizen at the time of your birth. If you wish to be acknowledged as a Filipino citizen, you can apply for Recognition as Filipino by following these steps:

**You can submit the required documents for pre-screening to the Central Receiving Unit (CRU). Follow the officer’s guiding to get the Order of Payment Slip (OPS), pay the required fees and submit copy of Official Receipt.
**To complete the process, you must attend a hearing. Please refer to the Official receipt for the schedule and venue of the hearing. If approved, please claim your Identification Certificate. Congratulation, you are a Filipino citizen now.
