#The company has to send at least two employees in charge of clearance with a diploma or certificate in Customs Management from a recognized institute or a minimum of five-year experience in customs operations
#Two copies of introduction letter affixed with passport size photograph of the staffs that represent the Company in the Interview have to submitted. #Shortlisted applicants for customs agents' licenses will be contacted through TANCIS and public notice regarding written interview.

*The Company's Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) Certificate (for new applicants)
*Each Director's Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) Certificate (for new applicants and for renewals when there are changes)
*Any applicable VAT Registration Certificate
*A valid tax clearance certificate outlining the current years' tax situation
*The Company's Memorandum and Articles of Association (for new applicants)
*Certified copies of the Certificate of Incorporation and, if applicable, the Certificate of Business Name Registration (for new applicants)
*A current passport-size photograph of the directors and personnel, fully attested by a Notary Public or Commissioner for Oath (for new applicants and for renewal only if there are changes), that is no more than one megabyte in size.
*A current National Identification Card issued by NIDA or a passport (for new applications and renewals where there are changes) for each director and staff member referred to in (vii) above. Non-citizens of Tanzania should also present a current Residence and Work permit.
*Letters from guarantors attesting to the payment of yearly premiums for applicable bond securities (for renewals) or applicable Customs bond securities (for new applicants prior to issuance of license).
*A certified copy of the title deed or leasing agreement for a location that is appropriate for the business and has computer capabilities that can link to the Tanzania Customs Integrated System (TANCIS) - this document will be verified before the licence is granted.
*The absence of any unresolved Customs issues, such as unpaid TANSADs, unpaid audit queries, unpaid transit transactions, etc (for renewals)
*A letter from the Business Registration and Licensing Agency (BRELA) outlining the Directors' and Shareholders' current positions;
