:This visa may be issued to those expatriates who wish to come for short-term assignments which in any way do not exceed 90 days. It may be issued to such foreign expatriates so as to allow them to enter in the United Republic of Tanzania for the following purposes;

Tanzania business visas are also issued for either single entry or multiple entries or are granted a maximum duration of three of six months. As with short term business visit visas in most destinations a visa of this kind does not constitute to a work permit or employment visa and does not entitle the holder to work in Tanzania weather in paid or unpaid employment. Business visa are temporary immigration solution designed to allow applicants engage in a range of business related activities including attending meetings and business conferences and researching potential buyers and suppliers.

All visitors must obtain visa prior to entering Tanzania except nationals of East African Community, Ghana, Namibia, Romania, Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore and other Commonwealth member States excluding Australia, United Kingdom, Canada, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Nigeria, India, Pakistan, Sierra Leone and South Africa.
