Administration fee for expired licenses
An additional fee is payable if you are applying for a driver's license more than six months after your old license has expired (payable in addition to the license fee)

(one to 10 year licenses available) plus an administration fee of $17.00

A temporary license is valid for one calendar month or until you receive your photo licence in the mail.

==Instructions==
*Your application form provides details on the options to renew your driver's license - with photo required and no photo required.
*A driver's license may be renewed for any period between one and ten years.
*Your driver's license photograph is valid for ten years so the application renewal period options are based on the expiry date of your photograph.
*If you renew online you'll be able to print a temporary license.
*If you attend a photo point location you'll be given a temporary license while your photo license is made.
*If you live in a remote area of South Australia that's not serviced by a Service SA customer service centre or Australia Post photo point, or you are unable to attend one of these locations, phone 13 10 84.
*You cannot renew at Australia Post photo points if your license has been expired for more than 90 days, or there are changes to your license details.
*If you don't receive your photo license within one month phone 13 10 84.
