You are a foreign national who has an existing probationary Non-Quota Immigrant Visa status that is valid for one year, or you are a Chinese national married to a Filipino citizen in the interest of reciprocity or you are a Filipino Veteran or his/her spouses and his/her legitimate or illegitimate and unmarried children of World War II who acquired American citizenship under the United States Immigration Act of 1990 and for other purposes (R.A. 7837), or you are citizen of a country which grants permanent residence and immigration privileges to Filipinos and also married to a Filipino, you can apply for a Philippine Permanent Resident Visa (PRV). Under the Philippine Immigration Act of 1940, Section 13(a) you are eligible for permanent residency in the Philippines. This visa is issued to an alien on the basis of his/her marriage to a Philippine citizen and only available to citizens of a country which grants permanent residence and immigration privileges to Philippine citizens.&lt;br /&gt;
