#To request for a copy of the birth certificate, please go to the State Civil Service, present your identity card and pay for the certificate. &lt;br /&gt;
#If you are unable to obtain the birth certificate yourself, you may assign somebody else to apply for the procedure for you, by writing a proxy statement and providing all needed documents.&lt;br /&gt;
#You may also send your request by post. You will need to indicate your name, and your birthday. Do not forget to include a return address where you would like the certificate to be sent. All request must be accompanied by a check payable to &amp;quot;Monsieur le Receveur Municipal&amp;quot;. The amount to be paid would depend on the number of certificates being requested (1.00 per certificate plus postage).&lt;br /&gt;

You may obtain a birth certificate of a person born in Monaco or a Monegasque national born abroad and whose birth is included in the civil register of Monaco.&lt;br /&gt;

*2 certificates:  2.66&lt;br /&gt;
*3 certificates:  4.10&lt;br /&gt;

*6 certificates or more: call the State Civil Service to inquire about the price&lt;br /&gt;
