'''Apply by Mail:'''
#To Apply for a Nursing License, the applicant has to approach the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services [https://www.hhs.gov/about/agencies/iea/regional-offices/index.html link] or the state nursing board [https://www.ncsbn.org/membership/us-members/contact-bon.page link]
#Ensure that the applicant has completed the necessary education requirements for nursing licensure in the chosen state.
#This typically involves graduating from an accredited nursing program, such as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program.
#The National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) is a standardized exam that tests the knowledge and competencies needed to practice as a registered nurse (RN) or a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in the United States. Register for and pass the NCLEX exam for the specific type of nursing license the applicant is pursuing (RN or LPN).
#An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
#The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
#Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
#The applicant has to attach photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting it.
#Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned office mailing address.
#The mailing address is mentioned in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page.
#The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
#After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
#Nursing licensing boards require applicants to undergo criminal background checks, including fingerprinting, to ensure patient safety and trustworthiness.
#Then the application will be processed further.
#Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
#Once the application is approved, the applicant will receive the nursing license through mail.
#This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
