#Applicants should submit 15 copies of the EIA project brief (14 hard copies and 1 soft copy), Ministry of Tourism, Environment and Culture, Department of Environmental Impact Assessment office upon which you will be issued with an Acknowledgement letter/receipt.
#The Director of the Department of Environment will study the EIA project brief and may invite the comments of the relevant Departments and Ministries.
#The Director will then further assess all report finds from the project report, inspection report (if applicable) and the relevant department ministry report and decide whether to;
#Approve the project if the project shall not result in significant damage to the environment.
#Make Suggestion to the applicant to correct and/or redesign the project in line with stakeholders' comments.
#Reject the project if the Director and/or stakeholders evaluate that the project may cause damage to the environment.
#You will be notified of the outcome, within 30 days to 60 days, if approved you should re-visit the Department of Environmental Impact Assessment office with the Acknowledgment letter and claim the EIA Certificate.
